Choose another pluginThe log file
The plugin's log file shows us what it was doing, and is the quickest way to find what went wrong.
- Straight after the problem, open Help in the plugin (the ? in its top bar).
- Under About, click Save log file. It says where it saved it: the plugin's own folder, on the machine Designer runs on.
- Attach that file to your report.
A log file holds no media and none of your project's files: only names (the project, its machines, the tracks), the plugin's own settings, and what Designer and the plugin logged. We only use it to look into the problem, never share it, and delete it once we're done: see our privacy policy.
